A SpongeBob Episode Was Removed From Paramount+
Argëtim
Mid-Life Crustacean, the beloved SpongeBob SquarePants season 3 episode, is nowhere to be found on streaming service Paramount Plus, while its sister episode The Great Snail Race is still available. If this decision was intentional, it does reveal a big problem surrounding digital content...

I should also note this is in the US version of Paramount Plus. Things might look a bit different in other places around the world.

It’s a cartoon
The episode "Are You Happy Now" shows Squidward being depressed and attempting suicide. But they banned this episode instead.
So they make a streaming service despite already having a partnership with Netflix and you don’t even include every episode
Hackers after seeing everyone upset about nick removing the episode: I THINK IM BOUT TO STEAL... that episode to let everyone watch it again
It's all bullshit they're trying to turn us into a totaltarian system, soon we are gonna be living in a world like THX-1138 or Soylent green take your pick
Oh well I guess there gonna miss the panty raid
i always wondered how no one spoke about this for years 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
“Why didn’t ya tell me this was me mother’s house?!” So good
R.I.P Mid-Life Crustacean 2003-2021 :(
I dont watch it on paramount plus instead just dvd
Most of season 12 of spongebob squarepants isn’t there on the service
Orwell was right the world is scuffed and I need a drink. 😒
Season 3 is trash, so no wonder that Season 3 episode got ban.
Bruh that’s actually an iconic episode there are a ton of great lines from that episode. “Are you feeling it now Mr. Krabs?”
Oh hell no, this is one of my favourite episodes. I have to buy the DVD/Blu-ray asap. Its so childish that they remove it since the kids nowadays are even more dirty minded or dont realize it at all
That’s it I’m switching what into to Disney+
This kinda reminds me of a similar issue with HBO Max, for Codename Kids Next Door (or CKND or KND, whatever you prefer to call it as a shortened name) it pretty much have every single episode (that I am aware of) and the movie named CKND Operation Zero but the only episode that is the very final episode of season six (which is the final season for the show unless we do get Galactic Kids Next Door or GKND for short but as of now there is only 6 seasons of the original show and the movie) named Operation Interview. Luckily someone on ALboth uploaded the full episode but I don’t know why the final episode of KND is missing since nothing was inappropriate (well at least from what I can remember) and that episode is very important since it gives a conclusion so it’s weird.
Back in time (even very young) we watched this episodes, love it like every outhers and don't think wrong or get scare and now these studios start banned it for no sense, its sad and dissapointing
If there’s 3 SpongeBob episodes I think should be removed it’s a Squarepants family vacation because that episode is so boring and SpongeBob’s friends don’t give a crap. And if there’s another one I think should be removed it’s stuck in the wringer because Patrick is so mean in that episode. And another one I think should be removed it’s bubble buddy because that episode is so lame because everyone’s upset over nothing it’s just a bubble and everyone is so mean and cruel to SpongeBob.
Not trying to be mean but, no one really cares, why do you keep posting about stuff that’s not really that important? I think this is why you get a lot of hate, you have about useless info that no ones interested in, like it’s just 1 episode, it’s not that serious.
Me with Prime Video: 🙂😀😃🤩
it's officially gone along with the episode Kwarantined Krab shortly after amazon pulled the episode off their platform too
The episode is apparently being pulled from TV now...
It was removed on amazon prime too 🤔
No kid who watches spongebob will bat an eye over this episode, so dumb
Same thing seems to have happened to Jimmy Neutron. Few episodes removed
It’s official. The episode has been removed from syndication on Nickelodeon.
There are plenty more things in spongebob much more inappropriate than a panty raid
No we shouldnt be worried because it's most likely a mistake and well be able to see the episode again soon ;)
How do you watch the SpongeBob new movie on Netflix in the US
THEY GOT RID OF THE THIS, BUT ONE COURSE MEAL IS OK??? I--

I swear, the toe nail scene makes me cringe every time I think about it. And, the Splinter episode is absolutely disgusting.
Lol
17 ditë më parë
And the splinter and toe nail scene from house fancy can stay too, but not this episode apparently...
The noose of censorship tightens again
Lol the panty raid part is not even that inappropriate, or maybe it’s just me.
If anything, I'd remove that later episode with the Squidward's Suicide reference. Really makes ya think.
Lol

They probably kept that one cuz squidwards suicide was edited out and replaced with baby
How tf did this get banned but the toenail scene didn’t lmao
It’s sad because this is one of the funniest episodes in the series😒
The audience has no right or entitlement to content. lol. The owners of the IP can do whatever they please.
Fortify the walls on Prime Video, boyos- it's gonna be a long night...
This is similar to Kwarentined Krab being removed from the season 12 DVD but its over a seriously dumb reason
0:01
It seems perfectly understandable why they removed it. It's a company making a free choice on their own discretion. I feel like it's not that deep
It’s good episode but BnE for underwear is something that probably doesn’t even need to belong in anime rated below TV-14.
over 200 episodes? call it 199
Wait that episode? Not the one where Mr Krabs is so cheap that the Krusty Krab security system is a bucket of gasoline and a lit match?
You can just watch it on Amazon I checked and it’s there
Me crying bc I don't have Paramount plus
Isn't censorship wonderful? After all, why shouldn't the highly moral hollywood types determine what us lowly peons should and shouldn't see.
are you feeling it now, liberals?
This is why you get DVDs, not streaming services kids.
Panty raid😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bro I’ve been wondering where this is forever glad someone else noticed
1:44 It doesn't "reveal" anything, this issue is the single most significant drawback of all these subscription services, whether they give you everything or sell you something you can only access through their system, movies, audio, software, whatever it is, you don't own a thing, and many, many people have been saying this for as long as the concept has existed. Its the primary reason a lot of people think its better to pirate, b/c you actually own the product in that case. If these idiots actually provided their content DRM free, digitally, at a reasonable price, they'd make money hand over fist, but almost no one does. GOG is the only platform that comes to mind, and that's only for a few games (mostly retro and indie).
time to buy physical
That’s ridiculous!! Luckily when I binge watched spongebob in January on the old cbs all access it was still on there... ugh
Definitely not a mistake they don't just 'forget' episodes. Save those discs boys they can erase shit online, but not on the ol' dvd B)
This video genuinely has such an important message about how quickly data, information, media, etc. can disappear, without notice, when a company wants it to.
I don't think Paramount + wants to provide closed captions for a specific line Mr. Krabs says when walking into the laundromat in Mid-Life Crusteation.
I would say that I doubt it is anything new, and it could have been pulled for any number of reasons. Only Viacom, Paramount Plus, and Nickelodeon may know for sure.
This episode and The Great Snail Race were now removed also from the digital releases of season 3 and the digital collection Mighty Sporting of You.
This is why I still buy DVDs
Also they won't add more nick movies ):
it’s on it tho?
0:33 video starts
The Paramount+ company needs to fix all the Nickelodeon fixes that need fixing on paramount+🛠
I guess Paramount+ isn't feeling it now, Mr. Krabs :(
First and foremost, Im honestly surprised it wasnt the episode where Spongebob made Squidward think he ate a bomb pie and was gonna die. Second of all I wouldnt be surprised if it were on purpose, but it is also a part of history being censored, and I dont jive with that. Put Mid Life Krabs back on!
I think it’s entirely possible that this is actually just a mistake or a bug. And if it’s not, than we fight!
HOW did I know it was this episode before even clicking on the video???
ART THOU FEELING IT NOW, MR KRAB?
They should've just removed everything after season 3 instead.
I guess they’re gonna miss...the panty raid
Remember when cartoons weren’t censored by the snowflake minority?
Untouched? Does that mean that the gasoline-and-match gag is in that one episode?
They couldve cut the panty raid part
I guess they’ll remove that episode where he makes a “dropping the soap” joke next. 🤦♂️
Interesting that Paramount would censor a spongebob episode for being “inappropriate” but they actively run Ashley Maddison ads on their channel after 10pm, essentially sponsoring marital affairs.
I guess they're weren't feeling like Mr. Krabs
This scene hit so different
Not surprised tbh, ALboth poops had a field day with the episode.
Then don’t subscribe to these streaming services. Simple as that. If u don’t like it don’t give them money. That’s how change happens.
It's odd that episode would be missing...but on the new prequel show where the characters are children they sneak off to a nudist camp..
Yeah on Disney+ they removed the Simpson episode with Michael Jackson
I fuckin hate cancel culture and living in this timeline. Take me back to 2003 when these jokes were still okay.
I remember this episode so well lol ;-: I think with context, I could tell you what each spongebob episode (leading to season 5) and what they were about. I have seen episodes that aren’t in that season that were like little stragglers lol ^^
was it because of the, panty raid?!
I guess you’re gonna miss... the panty raid
I still have Prime video
Oh that better be a mistake that's one of my favorite episodes
This is why I pirate
Me who just wants to watch season 3 in polish but it's not on streaming services :(
I was always so confused about the panty raid as a kid lmfao
WOOOOOOW thanks for bringing attention to this. Thats one of the best episodes. what a crime.
What the barnacle?!?!
stuff like this is disgusting. companies should never hide or remove past work no matter how its viewed in the present. preservation is so extremely important, to try and pretend this episode doesnt exist is so gross
Just like Simpsons removed Michael Jackson's episode due to crimes he was found not guilty of in the past buncha bs
Fuck Cancel Culture
If it's a mistake, that's fine and hopefully it gets fixed. If not, it's another slimy stealth move to erase history because of fear of "cancel culture" and/or hurting someone's feelings. Which is crap. If I care enough about a show or film, I buy it physically. I don't subscribe to any streaming services for reasons like this AND....literally everyone else has them these days, so it's not like I don't have access via a roommate or friend any time I want it. :P
Fun fact it was there when it was called cbs
Spongebob squarepants
